Miami Valley Health Information Management Association Laura L. Vondenhuevel, RHIT, CTR was named one of the Top Communities of Practice (CoP) Facilitators for 2009 by AHIMA. There are approximately 650 volunteer CoP Facilitators and 17 were recognized with this honor in 2009. Laura currently co-facilitates the Release of Information – Legal CoP and is the primary facilitator of the Cancer Registrars CoP. Michele Beck, a 2009 graduate from National College – Dayton, passed the RHIT exam on March 24, 2010 Teresa Kidd, a 2009 graduate from National College– Dayton, passed the RHIT exam on May 15, 2010. Michael Morrison, a 2010 graduate from Sinclair Community College, passed the RHIT exam on June 5, 2010.
